JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is dynamic & motivated to learn about the digital advertising industry. If you are solution-oriented and a well organized team player, this job is for you!
Your mission will be to lead and manage the engineering team. You will organize the workflow, design Opti Digital products technical architecture, hire new team members, define technical and personal objectives for the team.
We have many challenging projects to sustain our company growth and develop new business units.
Some projects you might be involved in:
- Opti Digital’s publishers configuration & analytics management tools
- Opti Digital’s market prices predictive engine
- Opti Digital publisher smart tags JavaScript libraries
- Real time reporting/analytics system
- Real time bidding engine for our innovative ad templates
- Artificial intelligence used to automate tags integration
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Understand our business and our business needs to relay them to the technical team and lead the developments
- Lead and manage the software engineering team
- Organize the workflow
- Recruit new team members
- Define the technical and personal objectives of the team
- Define the technical architecture of Opti Digital products
- Ensure projects are completed successfully and deadlines are met
- Ensure the quality of the delivered releases
- Ensure the consistency of developments in relation to business needs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience with Python and frameworks like Flask
- Experience with Go programming
- Experience with Google Cloud
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Experience with Vue.js / Angular
- You love OOP and writing clean code along standards
- You are fluent in SQL and relational database basic operations
- You are familiar with: Git, JIRA, REST API, Microservices, Docker, MySQL
- Strong organization & management skills
- Positive attitude and good communication
- Proactivity and attention to details
- Fluent in written and spoken English for team work
APPRECIATED SKILLS
- Experience with projects for the digital advertising industry
- Experience with high traffic server side applications
- Experience with Google Cloud, Google Ad Manager, Google Data Studio
- Experience with devops tasks, Continuous Integration & deployment
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence cloud solutions
- You are interested in and have some experience in big data and ETL
