JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is dynamic & motivated to learn about the digital advertising industry. If you are solution-oriented and a well organized team player, this job is for you!
Your mission will be to ensure software development quality for Opti Digital applications collaborating with product managers, front-end & back-end developers. We have many challenging projects to sustain our company growth and develop new business units.
Some projects you might be involved in:
- Opti Digital’s publishers configuration & analytics management tools
- Opti Digital’s market prices predictive engine
- Real time reporting/analytics system
- Real time bidding engine for our innovative ad templates
- Opti Digital’s publishers ad tags
MAIN TASKS
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven work experience in quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of SQL
APPRECIATED SKILLS
- Experience in software development (Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with Google Cloud, Google Ad Manager, Google Data Studio
- Experience with Sentry, New relic, Logdna, Figma, Webflow, Docker
- Experience with Vue.js

EXPERIENCE AND STUDIES
- 5+ years of experience in development with Python frameworks
- Computer sciences degree
